NEW Wiki of the Week!

So it looks like most schools are rolling along! Projects are starting to take off with some really great ideas! This week, we would like to spotlight Laura Ingalls Wilder Intermediate School for a fantastic job on their wiki page! Here is a snippet of their poem about the project:

"Our school is named for Laura Ingalls Wilder, who wrote the Little House books and more,
we're not sure what this project holds for us,
or for what we are in store.
We are brave 5th graders in a 5th and 6th campus
in a small town named Schertz in the Lone Star State,
we can't wait to tackle these projects
and share different issues for debate."

To read the full poem, go visit their wiki page at:

It looks like Laura Ingalls Wilder is about to undertake their communities problem. We look forward to your progress! Keep up the great work!

QUESTION??

I hear stories all the time about people making a difference, whether it's in the news, in storybooks, or on Youtube. And I think to myself that I could never be put in a position like that. What I mean is I could never make such an impact like these people. Martin Luther King: he changed the world's outlook on equal rights. Oprah Winfrey: she's providing education and a better life for children in a third world country. These people are famous! MY question is this: What does it take to make a difference? What do I have to do to make an impact? If you have a response, please tell us!

Dr. Martin Luther King

Project Lemonade salutes Dr. Martin Luther King for his courageous efforts in his fight for equal rights. Dr. King set a standard for all of us in how we should treat each other. No person should be judged by their race, religion, gender, or color of their skin. Thank you Dr. King, for following your dream, and for making a difference!

Our First Videoconference

Our First Videoconference was a success. We had a few technical difficulties, but managed to staigten things out and pull everyone together to start making a difference! Thank You Liz Scott for your inspiring words. Happy Birthday to Alex! We hope you enjoyed our hosts, Conor and Kara, and look forward to hearing your successes down the road. Keep those wikis going, friends. We'll be watching!
